MISSION STATEMENT
Land Dancers explores and celebrates the traditional teachings and
experiences of folk music and dance from around the world, with a focus on
bringing people closer to the land and building community through the folk
music/dance tradition, the practice of oral history, story and joke telling, and
physical work with the land.sustainable living practices.
Land Dancers started by Cliff Jenkins in 1981 as a community of friends who get together and celebrate nature, health, dancing, and other activities on Cliff's land in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Every Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend Land Dancers holds a free folk dance weekend.

The deck served us for 40 years. It is time to rebuild it for the next 40 years. We reuse as much lumber as we can, but lots of the foundation was exposed to the elementes for 40 years. We need to raise money to complete this project.
